In pursuit of Health

It is said that an idle mind is a devil's workshop. I have been home nursing the flu and frankly, I am not very good at lying around doing nothing much! Ok, so the doctor orders REST. I am, or at least, am trying to. But I can't rest or relax staring at the walls. I tried watching tv, but I have a short attention span, and really am not into reruns!

So, what do I do, other than getting on everyone's nerves? I pick up my latest gadget - an IPad, no less, and start googling for natural ways to boost health, etc. It's either that or FB, but lately FB bores me (say WHAT?).

So, I end up googling for some natural treatment for gastritis, digestive system & the like. My sister recently started suffering from those ailments and is staying at my house for the moment. She rarely gets sick and it pains me to see her like that. So, I came across Aloe Vera. Nothing new, really, but I was willing to give it a try. Got to the pharmacy on the way home from my follow up visit with the good doctor, and bought some aloe Vera gel.

Both my sister and I took it yesterday afternoon. Both experienced stomach cleansing, in a good way. It got rid of wind, and I feel that my circulation must have improved somewhat. I mean, I think I feel more blood to the skin, extremities. I feel a bit more energy, though of course it could have been due to resting and the antibiotics killing off the infection. But I have a good feeling about this. It's natural, it doesn't have side effects, I don't have adverse reactions to it, no so-called healing crisis. The label professes other benefits like detox, antioxidant, collagen, energy. So, why not?
